Associate Attorney – Transactional/Business Attorney

About the Role:

Kazhe Law Group PC, a full-service boutique law firm, is seeking a full-time associate attorney with at least 1-4 years of legal experience to support its growing practice representing governments, health organizations, and tribally owned enterprises. This is a unique opportunity to serve Native communities and work on high-impact matters across litigation, governance, healthcare, and business development.

Responsibilities:

• Support two senior attorneys in matters involving corporate, transactional, and nonprofit matters and development projects

• Conduct legal research, draft legal memoranda, and prepare correspondence and client deliverables

• Advise clients on regulatory and administrative law matters

• Assist with healthcare compliance, real estate transactions, leasing, and tribal governance issues

Practice Areas May Include:

• Employment, housing, and intergovernmental affairs

• Health law and healthcare regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, Medicaid, Medicare)

• Business, nonprofit, and real estate transactions

• Environmental and cultural resource protection

• Tribal gaming regulation and tribal economic development

• Administrative law and limited litigation

Qualifications:

• J.D. and active membership in the California Bar

• At least 1-4 years of relevant legal experience

• Strong research, writing, and communication skills

• Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated

• Experience with direct client services is preferred

• Salary Range: $125,000 – $160,000 (commensurate with experience)
